Situated near to the centre of Llangollen, the Royal International Pavilion
is easy to find, surrounded by ample free parking and offers a variety
of indoor and outdoor activities all year round.
Home to the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, the towns population of just over 3,000 rises tremendously during this now famous week in July. The colour and pageantry created during the festival by the many thousands of overseas competitors staying in the town make the Eisteddfod an almost un-missable event in its own right.
The
facilities at the Pavilion include a Gallery, which displays a variety
of local, regional and national touring exhibitions. The
Craft Showcase displays examples of local craft work, much of which is
available to purchase. A
regular cinema facility is also available at the Pavilion.
The venue can be hired to accommodate concerts, conferences, celebration parties, product launches, meetings, festivals and private functions, providing entertainment for everyone. A comprehensive range of technical support, full catering and licensed bar facilities can be arranged. The Pavilion is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
