International Canoe Competitions This is the easiest way to first experience the excitement of white water and is a great introduction to possible further involvement in the sport. It's also just good fun!

You will be accompanied by one of our Expert Guides who will show you some of the finer points of handling the craft. The cost includes all safety equipment. The activity takes place with 2 - 6 persons per boat. We would recommend a two hour session.

A whole range of activities can be organised for groups:

Problem solving and jungle stumbling on the island.
Beginners canoeing.
Inflatable Canadian canoeing.
Climbing and abseiling
Quad biking/paintball/laser clay shooting.

International Canoe Competitions The Dee between the Chain Bridge and Llangollen is used for slalom competitions and down river races on weekends during the winter months. It is also a venue for international competition.

Canoeing of a gentler nature can be enjoyed on the Llangollen Canal, with permits obtainable from the British Waterways Board. Canadian canoes can be hired from the Canal Wharf during the season.
