Shopping - Victorian Llangollen Victorian Wares - Victorian Llangollen he most striking Victorian feature in Llangollen is the entire main shopping boulevard of Castle Street. It was built between 1850 - 1870 as a direct route from Telford's new highway to the 14th century bridge spanning the River Dee. Today's superb selection of shops are perfectly complimented by the many fascinating aspects of Victorian architecture on the streets upper levels.

Castle Street - Victorian Llangollen he most impressive of these buildings is the Town Hall which was built in 1867. It also doubled as the towns Market Hall with the then open arches, that has now been filled with retail outlets.
